Claudia and the Styling Hutch are the best! I've been going to Claudia for 5 years. It was magic the first time she cut my hair. I'd never seen my hair look defined and not frizzy. I was actually proud of my curly hair and still am! I get tons of compliments on it. For the record - I'm blond with medium curls, medium length. I never thought it could look this good! Thank you CLAUDIA!!!!! You're amazing.
I've been twice to Styling Hutch and my hair looks the BEST it has ever looked. My husband said that this is the first time in 17 years that I haven't griped about my hair within a week of getting it cut. Thank you, Dee, for helping me feel good about those frizzy, sometimes misbehaving locks that are a thing of the past!
Karen has been cutting my curly hair for years and I am so thankful that I found her. She has taught me so much about my hair and knows how to cut it so that I have style and am able to take care of it myself. I always look forward to my next haircut, always a fun, relaxing time visiting with Karen & I always feel beautiful when I leave!
Terry did a great job helping me understand how to style and care for my curls. I have straightened my hair for years because I have never known how to make my curls look tame and presentable, but Terry knew exactly the type of cut and style that I needed for my curls. She taught me which products to use and made sure I knew how to style it myself before I left. I'm so glad to have found a salon that understands curly hair!
I found this salon online and I was very impressed by the reviews they were given! My whole life I struggled with my curls and would always straighten my hair. My hair of course was being tortured and I was tired of straightening it so I started to embrace my curls and try to handle them the best I could. I had a lot of split ends because of the straightening and I needed to get a cut but I was terrified that I would look like a poodle! But I was pleasantly surprised by the results at the styling hutch! I got it styled and cut for my prom by Kris and have never had so many compliments on my curls! I am proud to say I havent straightened my hair since and LOVE my curls! Kris was so kind and explained the whole process and when I was left to take care of my hair I was fully prepared! I would recommend her any day!
I found The Styling Hutch through Groupon and I am SO GLAD that I did. I had my first appointment with Jennifer a few months ago and had the best experience! Jennifer is WONDERFUL. Throughout my whole life I have never found anyone that could cut my curly hair, now I won't go anywhere else. It is such an amazing feeling to leave a salon and LOVE the way your hair looks. Not only was I extremely happy with the way Jennifer styled my hair, she should me how easy it was to do it myself at home. I have received so many compliments! I definitely recommend the cut and Jennifer to anyone.

- I have been going to Claudia at The Styling Hutch for more than 5 years now. I am so happy with my curls now that I get my hair cut there. Now, I always receive compliments on how my hair looks. The salon is clean, well-kept and all of the staff is very friendly. The confidence I have every time I walk out the door is worth every dollar spent. I highly recommend The Styling Hutch to anyone with curly hair living in the DFW metroplex.

- Dee is awesome. She can make my mushroom head look like a million dollars without spending that amount. As a teen, I abused my hair in all ways that teens do (color, cut, pulling a perm through my hair to try and straighten it, etc)...but I learned to love my locks. But, finding a stylist who understood them was difficult...until I found Dee. When my old stylist passed away, I went without one for two years -- no cut, color, etc. - and it was horrible. Then, I met a string of people who should not be within 100 feet of curly hair. Finally, I found the Styling Hutch and Dee. Dee can (and has for me): 1. fix a bad cut 2. cover gray 3. highlight without making me look like a candy cane 4. condition without making my hair greasy 5. fix the mushroom cloud 6. show me how to do my hair at home that saves time! 7. cut long, curly hair and still keep the length 8. give the Ouidad cut and explain why it works 9. sell product to me that I need without stalking me to buy stuff I don't need 10. keep to her schedule...I am never waiting on her The list could be longer, but for the sake of space, I simply declare that Dee rocks! The Styling Hutch is also a great palce to go if you do not want pretension. They don't need to have disco lighting, trance music, or a wine bar...they cut good hair and you do not have a headache when you leave. Plus, the people that work there look...well, normal. I am a professional, and I do not want my hair cut by someone whose taste level I find questionable. I understand the freedom of hair, but it is nice to see people who understand a professional business climate. J Allen December 2010

- I have unruly curly hair and this was the first time I ever experienced the Ouidad haircut. I was hesitant at first, but Karen was very patient and talked me through every step and performed the haircut to perfection. My hair still has it's long length. It feels so much lighter and more vibrant (very bouncy). I'm a product junkie (you almost have to be with curly hair), but Karen was right on about how the haircut really makes the difference! Every strand fell into its rightful place! I'm so happy that there are people out there that can FINALLY do this, and Karen really worked her magic.

- KRIS IS THE BEST!! I have type 4A hair and have been natural for about 1.5 years, and was in dire need for a trim/shape/balance cut. Thank Goodness that I researched for a salon on this website - and found The Styling Hutch! I've NOT gone to a salon for a trim/shape up because many salons wanted to straighten my hair and then cut it. And many did not specialize in "curly" hair. I couldn't understand why they wanted to STRAIGHTEN my hair and then cut it - that's not how I am going to wear my hair. I'm a CURLY Gurl! I called and was able to get in on a Saturday afternoon to see Kris - she was AWESOME! Kris gave my hair a shampoo/condition with a shape/balance cut - my hair was not long enough for the signature Ouidad cut. From the start of my cut I could tell that Kris was on the mark with my cut - it was shaping up very nicely! I was so very happy with my end results!! She styled my hair with twists - so cute!! I would highly recommend all curly girls/guys with type 4A hair to stop in and see Kris. The next time that I'm in Texas, I will DEF stop by and let Kris shape/cut/balance my hair!

- I HEART The Styling Hutch and Jennifer so much! I booked my first appointment with Jennifer after I found the Styling Hutch in Groupon. I had such a WONDERFUl experience!I have had natural curly hair all of my life and this was the first time that I left a salon feeling AMAZING! Not only did I love the cut and Jennifer, she should me how to style my hair everyday at home. That alone is worth a million bucks!!! I would recommend The Styling Hutch and Jennifer to anyone.
