The Styling Hutch was started ten years ago by Claudia Phillips, a cosmetologist of 26 years who had a vision to become salon owner. Claudia's ultimate goal is to help people with bad hair issues and making them feel good and confident about themselves. That vision had become more of a reality when she became Ouidad certified six years ago. Claudia enjoys doing hair of any kind, but realizing that curly hair clients have a more difficult time with their hair, and being able to help them has become even more satisfying!
Claudia has built a loyal and talented staff that has been with her over the years, her staff of professionals has all been OUIDAD certified, starting with Dee Johnson, Karen Presseisen, Terry MacIsaac, and Kris Brooks. In additions to our stylists, we have our assistant Antonio Whitfield and office manager Carolyn Bowen to accommodate all of our clients needs.
Clients come from near and far not only because The Styling Hutch specializes in curly haircuts, color, and styles. The salon has a warm and friendly atmosphere where customer service comes first!
